L Gallery 是一间位于杭州的私人画廊，因空间形似字母 L 而得名。 我们为独立艺术家提供低门槛、短周期的展览机会。 在今天，艺术作品可以轻易出现在屏幕上，却越来越难真正进入一个线下空间。展览变得昂贵、复杂，并逐渐依赖资源、关系和既有履历。许多创作者并不缺少作品，只是缺少一次被看见的机会。 L Gallery 想提供的，就是这样一个空间。 我们相信，展览不应只是少数人的特权。它首先是一种让作品与观众真实相遇的方式。 L Gallery 的展览由艺术家自主申请，经画廊团队筛选后，可获得一次为期约两周的个展机会。展览期间，艺术家可自由布展、展示作品，并与观众直接交流。 我们不收取场地费、展览费及运营费用，并在能力范围内提供基础布展工具、展览建议与线上推广支持。 展览结束后，L Gallery 将长期留存一件参展作品，作为展览档案的一部分，也作为艺术家与这个空间曾经相遇的证明。 L Gallery is a private gallery based in Hangzhou, named after the letter “L,” which reflects the shape of its space. We provide independent artists with low-barrier, short-term exhibition opportunities. Today, artworks can easily appear on screens, yet it has become increasingly difficult for them to enter a real physical space. Exhibitions have become expensive, complex, and increasingly dependent on resources, connections, and established credentials. Many creators do not lack works; they simply lack a chance to be seen. What L Gallery hopes to provide is precisely such a space. We believe that exhibitions should not be a privilege reserved for a few. First and foremost, an exhibition is a way for works and audiences to encounter each other in real life. L Gallery’s exhibitions are based on open applications from artists. After selection by the gallery team, artists may receive an individual exhibition opportunity lasting approximately two weeks. During the exhibition, artists are free to install and present their works in their own way, and to communicate directly with visitors. We do not charge venue fees, exhibition fees, or operating fees. Within our capacity, we also provide basic installation tools, exhibition advice, and online promotional support. After the exhibition, L Gallery will retain one exhibited work as part of its exhibition archive, and as proof of the encounter between the artist and this space.
